The intersection of sport and technology has defined André’s career for over a decade. He began in one of the first digital departments in professional sport, developing early online and mobile revenue models before launching two multi-million-euro esports divisions at leading agencies Sportfive and Infront Sports.
He helped brands such as SAP, BMW and Got2B enter competitive gaming and worked with Riot Games to open the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) to sponsorship and media partnerships. When the 2020 IIHF World Championship was cancelled due to the pandemic, he conceptualized and delivered the federation’s first global virtual ice hockey tournament. For Serie A, he built the eFootball league, securing sponsors, media partners and club rights for EA Sports, transforming it into a profitable, multi-year property.
Known for leading through innovation, collaboration and trust, André has coordinated multicultural teams across continents to achieve measurable growth and create new market opportunities. He now works with Phygital International to integrate physical and digital sports while expanding the organization’s global reach, and also lectures in Digital Business & Marketing at FFHS and serves as Senior Trainer at Aiden, guiding Swiss companies in adopting generative AI.
