With over a decade of experience in broadcast engineering, project management, and media innovation, Hejar has driven Rudaw’s evolution from traditional linear workflows to the deployment of a fully IP-based, cloud-enabled, and AI-integrated media environment.

Under his leadership, Rudaw has implemented large-scale initiatives including VIZRT automation, 4K UHD IP production facilities, and multi-site remote and distributed operations across several global offices — all designed to deliver reliable, agile, and scalable storytelling in one of the world’s most complex media landscapes.
