Nader Shehata

Nader Mohammed is a distinguished professional with over two decades of experience in the dynamic world of media and entertainment across the Middle East.  Nader specializes in content creation and development, innovation management, revenue generation, and strategic acquisition. His remarkable career has seen him collaborate with both multinational and local media companies, where he has made significant contributions to the industry.

Nader has been instrumental in the establishment and launch of numerous satellite channels. He has been a driving force behind groundbreaking initiatives such as Modern Sport, the first local FTA sports channel in Egypt, and FOX Series, the inaugural American series FTA channel in the MENA region. Nader’s innovative thinking also played a pivotal role in bringing FOX, the first American and international dubbed General Entertainment Channel, to MENA viewers. Notably, he was involved in the inception of National Geographic Abu Dhabi, the first local documentary FTA channel in the region, and Zee Alwan, the first Indian and international dubbed GEC in MENA, along with more international FTA TV channels that have been brought to the MENA region.

Nader’s contributions as leader of the co-production team at Zee MENA have been remarkable, leading to the successful creation of more than 15 top-rated local production series and movies in the last few years.
