
Peter Mrkic is a seasoned executive with over two decades of international experience across the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) and strategy consulting sectors, with a career spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. He brings a proven track record of leading digital transformation and driving commercial growth, particularly within the MENA region over the past 15 years.
Peter currently serves as Managing Director at TOD, the leading sports and entertainment streaming platform from the beIN Media Group. In this role, he is leading TOD through its next phase of growth, marked by the launch of TOD 2.0 — a significant evolution in user experience and content engagement across the region.
Prior to joining TOD, Peter was the Chief Commercial Officer (VP) at Intigral, the media arm of stc Group, where he successfully expanded stc tv and JawwyTV into nine regional markets. His leadership helped cement the platforms as key players in MENA’s rapidly growing streaming industry.
Peter has also held several senior roles, including Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Planning at Jawwy Mobile (stc), General Manager of Strategy at Telstra in Australia, and Head of Corporate Strategy at du Telecom in the UAE.
He holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Administration and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Statistics and Sociology from Monash University, Australia. He has also completed an Executive Leadership Program at Hult International Business School in Dubai.
