Srinivas Kuppa

Srinivas Kuppa serves as the Head of Technology at Al Mashhad. Since assuming this
position in June 2021, he has led the development of infrastructure, technical capabilities,
smart solutions, and digital platforms that enable the channel to deliver distinctive and highquality experiences to users globally.

In his role, Srinivas oversees and architects technology strategies for IT, broadcast, and
media communication solutions at Al Mashhad. He is responsible for leading system
architecture initiatives designed to organize, automate, integrate, and manage data, content,
and media across multiple platforms. Additionally, he spearheads the design and
deployment of advanced broadcast engineering models for television, digital media, and
creative content, and contributes to Al Mashhad’s Smart Buildings and Energy Systems
projects.

With over 30 years of experience in the broadcast sector, Srinivas has previously held senior
technical roles at Sky News Arabia, Dubai Media Incorporated, Arab Media Group, OSN,
and Etisalat. Throughout his career, he has managed numerous broadcast and digital
projects, including new media platforms and smart applications, and has overseen the
launch and implementation of a broad range of broadcast engineering services.

Srinivas’s contributions have been recognised with several prestigious awards, including the
BroadcastPro Awards for Best Studio of the Year 2023, the 2009 Best Technology Project
Award by Dubai Digital Studios, and the 2008 Best Digital Studio Building Project Award.
