The eighth edition of the ASBU BroadcastPro Summit and Awards will be hosted on November 13, 2019 in association with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU).

The Summit has, over the last seven years, established itself as one of the region’s leading vendor-neutral events aimed at encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration between broadcast professionals in the Middle East and North Africa. Each of the previous editions of the Summit brought together more than 200 professionals from the MENA region.

This event aims to tackle issues related to the latest broadcast trends in the market place. It encourages the adoption of similar standards within the MENA to ensure that all broadcasters benefit from collaboration.

The Summit is part of our commitment to bring together industry peers regularly through workshops and conferences to share technology intelligence, debate best practices and standards in the industry, discuss international and regional case studies, and take home a wealth of knowledge that will enable us to make more informed decisions at our work places.

BroadcastPro Middle East is working alongside the Arab States Broadcasting Union and a board of technical advisors to ensure that we offer a comprehensive one-day learning experience for the industry at the Summit. This conference is an extension of the WorkshopPro series we launched in 2010. We have successfully hosted workshops and roundtables along with Avid, Brightcove, Dolby, Pebble Beach Systems, Imagine Communications and Snell Advanced Media among others.

The Summit will be designed by professionals for professionals.

We will wrap up the event with a gala awards ceremony designed to recognise and acknowledge excellence in the industry.

The 2019 ASBU BroadcastPro awards shortlist is out
