Nick is a prominent MENA TV strategist and the founder of ChannelSculptor, the Dubai-based strategic consultancy and service provider to the regional TV industry. The company provides award-winning channel licensing and management services to MENA IPTV networks, and provides audience analytics services to a growing number of broadcasters. ChannelSculptor has advised several international industry players including RTL Group, Netflix, Arqiva, Eutelsat and IBC as well as regional heavyweights such as Rotana Media, Abu Dhabi Media, twofour54 and Sky News Arabia. In 2017 the company established the mena.tv Content Hub, a new B2B content trading portal.
Nick started his TV career at MTV Networks Europe, where he was instrumental in the rapid channel growth during the 1990s, before moving in 1999 to Showtime Arabia, Viacom’s joint venture with KIPCO. As Head of Strategy he was the architect of Showtime’s 2004/05 move from London to Dubai Media City, and in 2007 he was Launch Director for MTV Arabia.
ChannelSculptor won Best Telco/Broadcast Initiative at the 2014 ASBU BroadcastPRO ME Awards, and Nick was named Content Executive of the Year in the 2015 TV Connect MENA Awards.
