Badih has more than twenty-five years of experience within the television broadcast industry in the MENA region. He held a number of senior managerial positions including as MBC’s group director of content where he worked for 13 years (1999-2012) managing MBC Group’s Arabic content commissioning and acquisition operations as well as managing the Group’s investment in Arabic content.
In 2012, he was CEO of the Egyptian network CBC before establishing Creative Venture, a boutique content production and distribution company in Dubai.
Through content acquisition and commissioning, he has helped bring several TV hits to the screen such as The Voice, Bab El Hara, King Farouk, Ahl El Gharam, Arabs Got Talent, Arab Idol, Khawater, Al-Barnameg by Bassem Youssef and The X-Factor among others.
During the course of his career, Badih has played a major role in launching several TV networks such as Al-Jadeed, Future TV, Al-Arabiya and MBC+.
Since Creative Venture was founded, he has been involved in the co-production of Bab El Hara, seasons 6 and 7, a top-rated series, in addition to developing and distributing a number of other series and programs.
