Karim leads the Media & Entertainment sector within the Telecom, Media & Technology practice in the Middle East. Karim brings 27 years of experience in media executive management and strategic consulting. Karim’s consulting assignments include involvement in the media sector strategy for Saudi Arabia, advising a leading telecom operator on sports rights exploitation, conducting the feasibility for various channel launches and developing the digital strategy for a TV channel. Karim’s media industry expertise includes managing free-to-air television networks, launching a pay-tv network, and producing short and long form video content. Karim is a fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Middle East Leadership Initiative. He holds a software engineering degree from Imperial College in London.
