Esteban Galan

As Lead Broadcast Manager of Expo 2020 Dubai, Esteban Galan directs the planning group responsible for the design and delivery of the technical facilities and services of the host broadcasting operation. As international executive with experience in broadcast technology, innovation, product and business management in the converged Digital-Telco-Media and Sports industries.

Esteban has been the technical director in several multisport events like the European Games Minsk 2019 and Baku 2015, and have been involved in the Host Broadcast operation of several Olympic Games as Pyeongchang 2018, Rio 2016, Sochi 2014 and London 2012, as well as in the 2011 Guadalajara Pan-American.

Specialised on big events planning and large facilities integration, with knowledge from building broadcast facilities fit out, intenational transmission circuits, studios and MCR operations, to all king of Outside Broadcast operations. Always proactive on the delivery of new technologies to maximise distribution and simplify processes.
