Fadi Ismail

A British Lebanese executive and an expert in content creation and production with 30 Years of experience in MENA. His passion is in elevating Arab content to international quality and reach based on different strategies and business models. Fadi launched DKL Studio in Dubai after leaving MBC in 2019 to develop premium content. Since then he has produced 3 Saudi feature films, one Pan-Arab drama and 2 Saudi drama series.

Since 2001 Fadi has been part of MBC senior management in charge of MBC Drama productions. He was the first to discover the value of Turkish drama in 2007, acquiring 1000s of hours of mainly Turkish, Indian and Korean series. Fadi also developed and adapted scripted formats and long telenovela series in Arabic, as well as producing innovative high-end series such as al Farouk Omar, CGI-dependent Saraya Abdeen and al Ostoora among 30 others, all produced by O3 which he established and became for many years one of the biggest players in Arabic drama production.
