COVID-19 Notice and Disclaimer to all attendees

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unexpected and profound impact on all of our daily lives and our businesses. COVID-19 has changed much about the way we at CPI Trade Media do business and the ways in which we interact with guests attending our events.

At CPI Trade Media, we have implemented various measures in conjunction with venuews, in adherence to government and WHO guidelines. All health and safety measures implemented aim to reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19 among attendees of our events. However, we do not guarantee or warrant against the risk of infection.

None of the information provided herein is intended as medical advice. This Notice and Disclaimer is intended as a warning to our guests of the risk of contracting COVID-19, a disclaimer of our liability and the liability of our attendees therewith, and an explanation of some of the things we’re doing to mitigate the risk of the spread of COVID-19, as well as some of the things we believe our guests can do to help.

What we are doing:

The safety of our delegates and attendees along with the CPI Trade Media Team and venue employees is, first and foremost, our main priority. The venues have implemented several social distancing and health and safety measures to limit physical interactions between all attendees.

Sanitisation facilities will be available throughout the entire venue, leading to and from each area, please ensure you use these facilities responsibly. The event will follow a 2m social distancing practice, strictly monitored adhering to government guidelines to ensure the safety of all in attendance.

Any material sent prior by delegates to the venue will be fully sanitised and stored accordingly. To further limit physical interaction, all information will be sent to all attendees prior. The CPI Trade Media and venue staff are directed to adhere to specific general hygiene and social distancing requirements.

What you can do:

Staying healthy and mitigating the risk of contracting COVID-19 will require your help. Protect yourself and exercise social responsibility. Maintain at least 2m social distancing from others when possible. Use the sanitisation facilities provided and wash your hands using soap and water for at least twenty (20) seconds as frequently as possible. Wear face masks during the event and at all times while is networking and main stage areas. If you wish to wear further Personal Protective Equipment, please manage and dispose of this responsibly.

We ask, for the health and safety of others, if you are showing symptoms or have been in contact with another individual showing symptoms, please do not attend live events.

Attending events will be different than ever before. We ask for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we all adapt to change in light of COVID-19. Despite the changes, and despite the uncertainties associated with COVID-19, CPI Trade Media remains committed to providing an educational and informative event for our delegates, attendees and partners.

Stay safe and we look forward to bringing the industry back together.
