Olaf Sperwer is heading the Department of Business Development for Virtual Production and XR Stages with a focus on film and broadcast for ROE EMEA. His background is more than 29 years in the global media business. He was part of international blockbuster productions and a co-producer of film- and tv series. Before Olaf joined ROE Visual EMEA, he was director and senior executive for European Governments and media funding Initiatives in the UK and Germany and for many years he was in several leading roles in the international film- and tv industry.
Olaf’s role at ROE Visual is expanding the ROE Visual LED business into the film-, tv- and broadcast production market. Since the use of ROE Visual LED volumes in Disney’s Mandalorian, ROE Visual has become the “gold standard” for virtual production in the global international film- and TV- studios.
As a support to ROE´s global sales teams, Olaf is developing new strategic partnerships in the field of live broadcast- and film production solutions. As ROE Visual belongs to the “go-to” industry in the field of virtual production and XR, Olaf also dedicates his role to creating new partnerships with solution architects and integrators, helping ROE Visual customers implement state-of-the-art VP solutions. He is the contact person at ROE Visual EMEA for project partnerships, public tenders and project integration.
