Peter Van Dam

Peter Van Dam has 40+ years of experience in media and broadcast. At 15, his passion for this industry came to life at an (illegal) local radio station as an audio technician. Concerts were gradually added to his expertise, but 1989 meant the true start of his broadcast career, thanks to VTM, the first commercial TV station in Belgium. In 2008 he led the transition to HD for Abu Dhabi Media. From 2014 to 2018, he held the position of Director of Technology at ADM. In 2018, Peter founded Audio Video Consulting LLC in Dubai, focussing on implementing cloud technology across all broadcast areas. His passion for learning, restructuring, and implementing new technologies made him a motivated ambassador for cloud solutions. He loves challenging the obvious and strongly believes in growth and innovation. Therefore, in 2022, he accepted the role as CTO of Saudi Sports Company. Recently, and In line with the future 2030 vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his goal to introduce new technologies like cloud and remote production workflows, Peter joined the Saudi Pro League Media House in August 2023 as COO elevating the media production execution on a sport that is the heart of the country.
