Can Akmenek, chief business development officer of Gametoon started his carreer in strategic production departments of global advertising agencies. Inspired by the evolving industry of esports and gaming, his team started to organize and produce independent offline tournaments in any format requested by the brands. Along with his strategical production experience, he started to work with brands as an esports consultant. His carreer in the media industry started as the channel manager of Gametoon. Can joined SPI that owns and operates Gametoon with the mission to develop and grow the gaming and esports audience of the channel. At the moment he is responsible for strategic planning and business development of Gametoon channel.
