Danny Bates

Danny Bates is the Chief Operational Officer and Co-Founder of STARZPLAY. Prior to his appointment in 2023, Danny served as Chief Commercial Officer from 2015 to 2023, during which he was in charge of leading the marketing, business development departments and product development.

In his current role, Danny brings fresh ideas while defining, developing and implementing strategies designed to deliver operational excellence while increasing STARZPLAY’s market share.

He brings a wealth of experience to his current role, having spent the past two decades working in the Pay TV and energy sectors in the EMEA region.

Prior to joining STARZPLAY, Danny served as Senior Vice President at OSN, where he was responsible for the group’s overall revenue and sales in the MENA region. He held several leadership positions at OSN, including Vice President of Customer Services and Operations, where he oversaw customer service, retention, customer operations, project management, analysis and planning.
