Ramon Bello


Ramon Bello oversees TV and Media services at Ooredoo, the leading telecommunications provider in Qatar, which also operates in various countries throughout the MENA and APAC regions.

With over 25 years of experience in the Telco and Media sectors, Ramon has witnessed the radical transformation of the TV and Media landscape, including the emergence and growth of OTT video streaming services worldwide and specifically in the Middle-East/GCC region. He has been instrumental in establishing Ooredoo TV as prominent player in the region.

Ramon’s role at Ooredoo spans the entire TV delivery value chain and includes responsibilities in strategy, product development, content acquisition, customer and user experience (CEX/UX), and market strategies.

Prior to joining Ooredoo, Ramon held positions at du and Orange Spain, where his duties encompassed Strategy, Technology, Product Development, and Customer Experience among others.

Ramon holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA from IESE Business School.
